Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Superintendent to lead electrical field operations in Lithia Springs, GA. You will oversee daily planning, safety, and execution, supervising journeymen and apprentices while coordinating with GC and inspectors to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

The role focuses on enforcing Helix safety standards, managing documentation, and delivering projects on time and within budget, with strong collaboration across trades and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the electrical trade with field leadership.
• Active state journeyman or master electrician license.
• Experience delivering commercial/industrial electrical projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70) and NFPA 70E safety practices.
• Proficient reading/interpreting plans, one-lines, shop drawings and BIM/VDC outputs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bluebeam, LaborChart, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field installations to meet project schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop field personnel; set clear expectations and provide feedback.
• Coordinate staffing projections and updates weekly.
• Coordinate trade partner/subcontractor activities to align with the project schedule.
• Oversee material, equipment, and prefabrication planning; track deliveries to prevent delays.
• Complete required field documentation accurately and on time.
• Monitor and update construction schedules to stay accurate.
• Ensure installation quality and NEC/code compliance.
• Promote Helix safety standards; lead toolbox talks and pre-task planning.
• Facilitate communication among Superintendents, field staff, GC, inspectors, and trades.
• Coordinate inspections with AHJ and GC; support testing, startup, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with in-house teams to resolve issues and optimize plans.
• Provide input to monthly cost-to-complete in collaboration with PMs.
• Identify scope changes; support RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
