Qualifications

• Licensed professional engineer (PE) or licensed master mechanical (HVAC) contractor with 10+ years in construction/renovation/modernization mechanical work.
• Experience with USACE three-phase inspection process and EM 385-1-1 Safety & Health requirements.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C).
• Familiarity with USACE Safety Management System (CE-SOHMS).

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specs for contract compliance and constructability.
• Maintain mechanical construction records and RMS reports; provide weekly status and inspection checklists.
• Evaluate submittals, shop drawings, and RFI responses with technical comments.
• Ensure construction methods and materials meet contract requirements.
• On-site surveillance of mechanical activities and testing; identify deficiencies and recommend corrections.
