Job summary

Maynor Service Company is seeking an Electrical Punch-List Technician/Helper to finalize electrical finish work on new construction, turning rough-in into a safe, inspection-ready space. You’ll complete wiring, install fixtures, detectors, and smart home devices while ensuring high craftsmanship and safety standards.

The right candidate will have at least 3 years of electrical experience, hold a valid driver’s license, and show pride in detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience.
• Valid state-issued Driver's License with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Knowledge of residential or light commercial electrical rough-in, trim-out, and service work.
• Willing to be on call once every 4 weeks.
• Dependable and shows up ready to work.
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in craftsmanship.
• Comfortable using electrical hand tools, testing equipment, and power tools.
• Able to follow directions and work safely around energized systems.
• Willing to learn from experienced electricians.
• Able to identify problems and communicate them to the team.
• Organized and respectful of the job site.

Responsibilities

• Install switches, receptacles, dimmers, and wall plates.
• Install and assemble decorative light fixtures, ceiling fans, and customer-selected lighting.
• Install smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and related devices.
• Install GFCI and AFCI devices as required.
• Assist with panel labeling and final electrical system organization.
• Install and program smart home devices, controls, and lighting systems as directed.
• Ensure all devices, fixtures, and equipment are level, secure, clean, and professionally installed.

A building can be fully wired and powered, but still not be ready for the homeowner, customer, or final inspection. That's where you come in.

As an Electrical Punch-List Technician / Helper, you'll work during the final phase of new construction to turn a newly installed electrical system into a safe, functional, inspection-ready space.
