Job summary

Knauf Insulation, Inc. in Texas seeks an Electrical Projects Engineer to design, develop, and test plant automation, electrical equipment, and machinery.

You will support installation, programming, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and provide technical support to staff and contractors. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in industrial manufacturing and PLC programming.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of Electrical Engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.
• Minimum 3 years’ PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot the plant's Process Control system, including HMI and data servers.
• Coordinate with Process Engineers and plant personnel to support process control improvements and data reporting.
• Oversee new plant projects and upgrades from design through completion, including scopes of work and quotes.
• Manage and maintain the plant's power distribution system.
• Seek technologies to improve safety, product quality, profitability and efficiency.
• Promote employee retention and engagement and a culture of accountability.
