Job summary

BE&K Building Group is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for large-scale commercial construction onsite, typically $20M–$100M+. The role leads the project lifecycle, coordinating with clients, design teams, and subs to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years in commercial construction with PM experience and a strong command of procurement, design coordination, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years in a Project Manager role overseeing projects $20M+.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-phase projects with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of large-scale commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage multi-million-dollar budgets, monitor profitability, and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with critical path milestones.
• Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance across all activities.
• Maintain quality standards and drive zero-punch-list deliverables.
• Administer contracts, manage change orders, and mitigate risk.
• Serve as primary client/architect/engineer contact and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Oversee procurement and vendor management for all trades.
• Mentor project teams and drive accountability and staff development.
• Drive project closeout processes and ensure client satisfaction.
