Job summary

Shimmick Corporation, via our Axia Electric subsidiary, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for Northern California. This role leads electrical construction projects from award through closeout, driving safety, schedule discipline, on-budget performance, and client satisfaction.

You will act as Axia Electric's primary client liaison and oversee cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities include risk management, procurement oversight, and coordination with estimating and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Experience managing complex heavy civil or industrial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project operations from planning to closeout.
• Ensure safety, schedule, budget, and contract compliance.
• Oversee setup, procurement, subcontracting, and resources.
• Identify and manage risks including cost, schedule, and scope changes.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain relationships.
• Coordinate with estimating, procurement and operations teams.
