Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and federal electrical construction projects around Charleston, SC. This role requires ownership, proactive leadership, and experience moving projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, field coordination, client communication, and financial performance to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery while maintaining

Qualifications

• At least three years of Project Management experience within electrical construction.
• Experience managing commercial and/or industrial electrical construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, estimates, and project scopes.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, cash flow, billing, and profitability.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, field teams, clients, and ownership groups.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and action items.
• Identify potential schedule, cost, and installation issues before they affect the project.
• Maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, engineers, and project partners.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Drive projects toward safe, on-time, and profitable completion.
