Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting an Electrical Project Manager to lead HV/LV installations across commercial and industrial sectors from our Derbyshire office with nationwide site visits.

The role covers project inception to completion, including transformer and substations work, safety on site, and client liaison. A strong background in HV/LV projects and a full UK driving licence is required; salary £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience, plus company vehicle and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

• Supervise site activities including transformers, substations, switchgear and cabling.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site and timely project delivery.
• Travel to sites across the UK from Derbyshire head office.

Job DescriptionPosition: Electrical Project Manager - HV/LV InstallationsLocation: Derbyshire office, with sites across the UKSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established contractor with over 20 year's experience offering design, installation and maintenance services for HV & LV systems across the commercial and industrial sector.

Electrical Project Manager Job Overview

• Managing electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion across the commercial and industrial sectors, with project values ranging anywhere from £1k to £500k
• Working on a variety of installation, upgrade and maintenance projects of HV & LV systems within agricultural sites, quarries and supermarkets, with systems ranging anywhere from 41V to 33kV
• Overseeing site activities including the installation and commissioning of transformers, substations, HV/LV switchgear, cabling, containment and associated electrical equipment
• Managing the overall health and safety on site, and the compliance/efficient completion of projects
• Working from the company's head office in Derbyshire and travelling out to sites across the UK

Electrical Project Manager Job Requirements

• Strong technical background within the electrical infrastructure sector, with experience delivering on a range of HV & LV installation/refurbishment projects
• Good knowledge of electrical infrastructure equipment including substations, transformers, armoured cabling, and switchgear systems
• Based within a commutable distance of Derbyshire and happy to travel nationwide
• Hold a full UK driving licence
