Job summary

GEMCO Constructors is seeking an Associate Project Manager - Electrical for our Carmel, Indiana office. This early-career role offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of commercial and industrial electrical projects, from planning to closeout, alongside experienced project teams.

You will work with field leadership to understand sequencing, manpower, productivity, and project challenges, while developing proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and construction accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior electrical construction experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Interest in both operational and financial sides of construction.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with project planning, coordination, execution, and closeout.
• Coordinate material purchases, equipment rentals, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain drawings, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and meeting minutes.
• Learn project financial management including budgets, forecasting, and billing.
