Job summary

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in PM/comissioning, travel readiness (75–100%), and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of Project Management, Construction Management, Project Engineering, or Commissioning Management experience.
• Commissioning/start-up experience for electrical and/or mechanical systems.
• Relevant industry experience may include Mission Critical, Industrial, and Commercial.
• Proficiency in using a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness/ability to travel 75–100%.

Responsibilities

• Provide general management for electrical and/or specialty systems QAQC and commissioning scopes of work under guidance of Project/Program Manager.
• Assist with commissioning and startup schedules.
• Contact vendors to obtain materials for construction projects.
• Participate in bi-annual performance evaluations and conduct employee reviews.
• Consult with Group or Project Managers to establish field merit wage increases.
• Plan, organize, and staff electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects.
• Ensure projects are completed profitably, on time, and according to customer expectations.
• Attend weekly and monthly staffing, project management, and sales meetings.
• Review outgoing estimates with the Estimating Department.
• Visit job sites and interact with crews, customers, foremen, and general contractors to ensure progress and safety.
• Process miscellaneous paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
