The Position:

The Electrical Project Manager will oversee complex electrical construction projects, including emerging energy markets such as solar. Responsibilities include budgeting, design review, project management, and field oversight, with a focus on ethics, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe and ethical work environment.
• Determine project scope, coordinate resources, and manage subcontractors.
• Assist with electrical design, troubleshooting, and creating project scopes.
• Review engineering designs, quotations, and drawings for accuracy.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality, performing site inspections as needed.
• Develop work scopes, specifications, and provide training on systems.
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical equipment.
• Work under tight deadlines and adapt to project needs.
• Contribute to predictive maintenance planning for company assets.

Location:

Based in Waukesha, WI, with projects across the Midwest, requiring travel as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years in electrical management within construction or manufacturing.
• Electrical training, certification, and understanding of electrical components.
• Knowledge of electrical codes in WI, IL, MI.
• Team player, self-motivated, capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics, manuals, and follow instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude; knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, VFD, PLC, and solar systems is a plus.
