Job summary

Christman Facility Solutions, LLC is looking for an Electrical Project Manager responsible for coordinating project planning, managing client relationships, and ensuring project compliance with safety regulations.

Job description

What You Will Do

As Electrical Project Manager, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: assessments and maintenance of client relationships to understand construction leadership and facility maintenance needs; coordination of project planning services such as estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and reporting; preparation of estimates for self-performed scopes of work; establishment of project-specific goals related to schedule, safety, accounting, labor relations, EEO, and data processing/reporting; client relation management, including clarification of quality standards, expectations, and priorities presented in design documents; oversight of timely and accurate processing of all project information documents including contracts, bulletins, field work orders, and change orders, requiring formal authorization prior to proceeding in the field; comparison and assessment of client needs versus contractual obligations; definition of project goals and priorities that establish resource allocation conditions; determination of project staffing requirements, development of a staffing plan, and establishment of work plans and schedules for each project phase; establishment of subcontract agreements and scopes for all trade contractors with clear expectations of project planning, coordination, safety, and quality definition; clarification of expectations and performance requirements in written documents and through presentations at pre‑bid conferences, post‑bid meetings, pre‑installation meetings, and other interactions; execution of contractual risk protections, including determination of Builder’s Risk Insurance approach; creation of a positive safety culture in coordination with client operations and occupancy; constant emphasis on safety, elimination and mitigation of hazardous conditions, and prompt address of unsafe situations or behaviors; coordination of information access and sharing across project team members; compilation and analysis of project financial information and expenditures to evaluate effective use of available funds; preparation of formal evaluations internally and externally each month; and ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable laws and regulations.

What You Will Bring to the Team

Required experience, knowledge, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or other relevant coursework.
  • Six (6) or more years of work experience in construction or a related job field.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • --or-- Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.

Preferred experience, knowledge, and skills:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or other related fields.
  • OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 training.
