Our client, one of the nations leading electrical contractors are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager/ Estimator to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in estimating commercial and industrial electrical projects and overseeing those projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for accurate cost estimation, proposal preparation, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects (commercial, industrial, and institutional)
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Assist in preparing bid packages and participate in bid reviews and project negotiations
• Manage awarded projects including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and change orders
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Coordinate with field staff and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating and/or project management
• Proficiency in estimating software (such as Accubid, McCormick, or similar)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (experience may substitute)
