Job summary

Slifco Electric, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a travel-heavy role based in Texas, with oversight of multi-million-dollar electrical construction projects. You will lead bids, scheduling, cost control, and team leadership from pre-bid through closeout while maintaining client relationships and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in electrical PM and estimating, proficiency with Accu-Bid or McCormick, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical Project Management and Estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Experience with estimating software (e.g., Accu-Bid, McCormick).
• Ability to manage estimates in excess of $1M and project volumes of $3M–$4M annually.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
• Design-Build projects experience preferred.
• Commercial, Institutional, Automotive, and Heavy Industrial electrical project experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the bid process including pre-bid meetings and site walk-throughs.
• Assemble final bid proposals including labor, materials, subcontractors, and costs.
• Lead contract negotiations and final scope review.
• Serve as the primary project contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Establish and maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend internal and external meetings coordinating with trades, contractors, and clients.
• Manage submittals, subcontracts, purchase orders, document revisions, manpower and material flow.
• Establish, manage, and maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Monitor and forecast job costs to maximize profitability.
• Communicate delays or scope changes and resolve cost impacts with clients or contractors.
• Assign team responsibilities and summarize progress.
• Oversee project execution with Foremen and Superintendent.
• Ensure proper staffing and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Safety Director to maintain OSHA compliance.
• Manage reporting of project status, including financials and progress.

Slifco Electric is a premier electrical contracting firm serving the Automotive, Heavy Industrial, and Mission Critical sectors. We specialize in both ground-up construction and major renovations, managing electrical packages ranging from small service work to multi-million-dollar installations.

We’re looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects from bidding through execution and closeout. You’ll be the key point of contact for clients, general contractors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The Role:

As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of project delivery, including estimating, scheduling, coordination, cost management, and team leadership. You will drive project success while maintaining strong client relationships and enforcing Slifco Electric’s safety and quality standards.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced electrical construction professional ready to manage multi-million-dollar projects across a variety of sectors.

What You'll Be Doing:
