Job summary

Jobot in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial electrical projects from inception to completion. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The role requires a Massachusetts Journeyman license with union contractor experience, strong leadership, and proven PM skills in budgeting and scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years PM experience in commercial electrical construction.
  • Licensed journeyman with union contractor experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Strong PM skills: budgeting, scheduling, risk management; leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of electrical projects from planning to execution.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
  • Supervise electricians and apprentices, enforcing safety and quality standards.
  • Review and approve electrical designs, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials and equipment.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure code compliance.
  • Present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Resolve project issues and disputes promptly.
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site following procedures and regulations.
  • Stay updated with trends in electrical construction.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager responsible for managing large-scale commercial electrical projects from inception to completion. You will work with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.   9. Maintain a safe and clean job site by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  10. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the electrical construction industry.
Qualifications
  1. Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent is required.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the commercial electrical construction industry.
  3. Proven experience as a licensed journeyman working with union electrical contractors.
  4. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
  5. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  6. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  7. Proficient in using project management software and tools.
  8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
