Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to design and implement electrical systems.
- Supervise and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Review and approve electrical designs, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and equipment.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
- Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Resolve project issues and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the electrical construction industry.
Qualifications
- Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the commercial electrical construction industry.
- Proven experience as a licensed journeyman working with union electrical contractors.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
