Job summary

Village Plumbing, Air and Electric in Houston, TX is seeking a seasoned residential service electrician with strong sales ability. You will diagnose issues on service calls, present options, and close the sale while our Install team handles the actual wiring.

This straight commission role offers six-figure earning potential, with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and ongoing sales training. You will be supported by a Master Electrician to ensure quality service and long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Licensed electrician with TDLR Residential Wireman or higher.
• Valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Excellent communication and sales abilities.
• Experience in residential service sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues on service/maintenance calls and present options to customers.
• Close the sale and coordinate with the Install team for execution.
• Complete small jobs (1 hour or less) and escalate larger ones to the Install team.
• Work with Field Supervisor to ensure high-quality customer service.

Are you a seasoned residential service electrician with great sales ability? If so, Village Plumbing, Air and Electric could be your forever home. We offer one of the best sales training programs in the business and that has proven to be extremely successful.

Our Electrical Project Managers are earning well over six figures without completing electrical projects yourself. You will be dispatched to service and maintenance calls to diagnose issues, present options and close the sale. You will complete small jobs (jobs that can be completed in 1 hour or less) and all other jobs will be completed by your Install team. Your Install team will be dispatched immediately to perform the project, and our Field Supervisor (a Master Electrician) will follow-up to ensure your customer gets the quality service Village has provided for the past 80 years.

This is a straight commission position with unlimited earning potential. In addition to your regular commission, you can earn money by identifying other trade opportunities and creating leads to other Village departments. You will also be compensated for enrolling customers in the Village Partner Plan and earning 5 star reviews. While this is a unique role and not for everyone, it is ideal for an experienced residential sales/service electrician.
