Job description

Hunt Electric Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Highlands Ranch, CO. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong electrical background who can manage projects from initial bid through final construction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and submit electrical cost estimates and construction schedules.
2. Create and manage pre-construction budgets and timelines.
3. Review and interpret contract drawings and specifications to ensure project compliance.
4. Manage change requests and change orders efficiently.
5. Prepare and submit billing documents; follow up to ensure timely payments.
6. Track and report on material, equipment, and labor costs.
7. Analyze project cost reports to assess schedule and budget status.
8. Monitor daily site progress and compare it to project estimates.
9. Lead and participate in project meetings as needed.
10. Coordinate with vendors on purchase orders, submittals, deliveries, and dispute resolution.
11. Maintain positive cash flow and provide accurate project updates to senior management.
12. Other duties and locations assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in electrical project installation.
2. 2+ years of experience in electrical construction, design, finance, or project management.
3. Proven ability to apply effective management techniques to enhance team performance.
4. Strong understanding of industry standards, practices, and their impact on project execution.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in relevant software and computer systems.
7. Licensed electrician or strong background in electrical construction.
