Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from initial planning to completion.
• Coordinate and interact with clients, contractors, and subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Review and approve project designs, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Manage and supervise project teams, including in-house staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Regularly report on project status to stakeholders and senior management.
• Conduct project risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Effectively manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager in the engineering industry.
• Proven experience in managing electrical construction projects in various sectors such as healthcare, hospitals, K-12 and higher education facilities, commercial and industrial buildings, recreation and sports facilities, government and historical buildings, utilities, data centers, and mission-critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating resources.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
