Job summary

Allied Electric Services, Inc. is seeking a Service Project Manager to oversee service projects from start to finish in Central Texas. You will manage submittals, budgets, schedules, and change orders, ensuring profitability and safety across projects.

You will coordinate service tech scheduling and material orders while communicating clearly with customers and internal teams. The role requires a minimum of 3 years' electrical project management, a Journeyman or Master TDLR license, and strong

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing electrical projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Current Journeyman or Master TDLR License.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Manage submittals, budgets, change orders, RFIs, schedules, and other aspects required to maintain profitable and successful projects.
  • Maintain a complete knowledge of the status of all assigned projects.
  • Execute organization's programs, policies, standards, and procedures consistently.
  • Manage all financial aspects of projects and work orders.
  • Set clear goals and expectations to service techs.
  • Coordinates scheduling of service techs and communicates work locations and job expectations to techs daily.
  • Orders materials and supplies as needed.
  • Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns.
  • Estimate change orders for assigned projects when necessary.
  • Manage all job closeout procedures.
  • Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement.
  • Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within the industry.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

The Service Project Manager is responsible to oversee all aspects of assigned service projects from commencement to completion. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or is necessary.

Duties include:
