Job summary

Blayze Group in Dallas seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects across the DFW market. The role requires a licensed Journeyman Electrician who has progressed into project management, combining field insight with the delivery side of electrical construction.

You will manage preconstruction through closeout, coordinate with GC, owners, engineers, and vendors, review drawings and specs, control cost, schedule, and procurement, and ensure safe,

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician with progression into project management.
• Commercial electrical construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, labor forecasting, change orders, and cost control.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, owners, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and field leadership.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Manage material and equipment procurement, including switchgear, lighting, panels, transformers, and electrical distribution systems.
• Support Superintendents and Foremen with manpower planning, scheduling, constructability, and field execution.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and on schedule.
• Manage billing, change order pricing, forecasting, and project financial reporting.

Blayze Group is partnering with an established commercial electrical contractor in Dallas to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects across the DFW market.

This is a strong opportunity for a licensed Journeyman Electrician who has progressed into project management and understands both the field and commercial delivery side of electrical construction.

The Role

• Manage commercial electrical projects from preconstruction and handoff through completion and closeout
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, labor forecasting, change orders, and cost control
• Coordinate closely with General Contractors, owners, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and field leadership
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
• Manage material and equipment procurement, including switchgear, lighting, panels, transformers, and electrical distribution systems
• Support Superintendents and Foremen with manpower planning, scheduling, constructability, and field execution
• Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and on schedule

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial electrical construction experience
• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or experienced electrical field leader
• Strong understanding of commercial power distribution, lighting, conduit, switchgear, transformers, panels, and electrical systems
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, change orders, and subcontractor coordination
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and client management skills
• Background with an electrical contractor strongly preferred
