Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead technically complex electrical construction projects, deliver on schedule, and uphold safety and quality standards. You should bring 7+ years in electrical construction or related fields, 1–2 years in a leadership role, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), and OSHA 30 (or ability to complete within 6 months).

Compensation includes $120k–$135k base, year‑end bonus, full medical/vision/dental, 401(k) with 6%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required.
• Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical construction, engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; if not held, must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop project teams by establishing expectations and providing coaching.
• Direct end-to-end project execution, monitor progress, resolve complex issues, and ensure schedule, quality, and performance objectives.
• Drive project safety and quality with strong field presence and safety programs.
• Manage procurement and subcontractor coordination to support schedules and field requirements.
• Oversee project financials and contracts, including budgeting and negotiations.
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders with clear updates.
• Evaluate project performance and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Maintain project documentation for compliance and reference.

Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a national commercial electrical contractor specializing in technically complex, sustainable, and high-performance construction projects. They are seeking an experienced Project Managers to join their team in Dallas, TX. Experience with data centers, advanced technology, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, life sciences, higher education, industrial, or renewable-energy projects is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop project teams by establishing expectations, providing coaching and feedback, supporting professional development, and fostering continuous skill growth.
• Direct end-to-end project execution, monitoring progress, resolving complex issues, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects meet schedule, quality, and performance objectives.
• Drive project safety and quality by maintaining a strong field presence, participating in safety meetings, supporting project-specific safety and quality programs, and proactively identifying and mitigating construction risks.
• Manage procurement and subcontractor coordination, including the selection and approval of project materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors to support project schedules and field requirements.
• Manage project financials and contracts, including budgeting, financial performance, contract administration, and negotiations to achieve project objectives and mitigate risk.
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, changes, challenges, and required actions.
• Evaluate project performance and implement corrective actions and process improvements to address issues and improve project outcomes.
• Maintain project documentation to support compliance, reporting, project administration, and future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification must be completed within 6 months of hire if not already held.
