KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial electrical construction projects in the Charleston area. You will oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, field coordination, and client communication to ensure on-time, profitable project completion.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of electrical construction project management experience, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of project controls.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, estimates, and project scopes.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, cash flow, billing, and profitability.
  • Coordinate with field teams, clients, and ownership groups
  • Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and actions.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and federal electrical construction projects throughout the Charleston area.

This is an opportunity for a proven project leader who understands electrical construction, takes ownership, and knows how to move complex projects from preconstruction through final closeout.

You will oversee project schedules, budgets, manpower, procurement, documentation, field coordination, client communication, and financial performance while ensuring each project is complete.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, estimates, and project scopes
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, cash flow, billing, and profitability
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents, Foremen, field teams, clients, and ownership groups
  • Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and action items
  • Identify potential schedule, cost, and installation issues before they affect the project
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, engineers, and project partners
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements, quality standards, and project specifications
  • Drive projects toward safe, on-time, and profitable completion
What We’re Looking For
  • At least three years of Project Management experience within electrical construction preferred
  • Experience managing commercial and/or industrial electrical construction projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction operations and field execution
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, manpower, procurement, and project financials
  • Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, forecasting, billing, and closeout
  • Experience with water treatment, infrastructure, government, or federal projects highly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams in fast-paced project environments
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Dependable, accountable, and willing to take full ownership of project results
