Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Utilities Project Manager in the United States to oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. You will develop scope, schedule, and budgets, manage contracts, and ensure safety and compliance across sites.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Management and at least 3 years of PM experience in construction, with strong leadership, negotiation, and budgeting skills; 100% company-paid insurance and growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or relevant experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
  • Proven budgeting, contract management, cost control, scheduling, and electrical utilities experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including defining scope, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Manage contracts and negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee the installation of electrical utilities and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may impact the project timeline or budget.
