Job summary

IES Residential Inc in Nashville is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee end-to-end electrical project execution on time and on budget. You’ll coordinate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and field personnel to ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

The role requires a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and leadership, with ten years of electrical field experience and a relevant degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Ten years of electrical field experience required.
• Experience in electrical project management, field supervision, or electrical construction leadership preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned electrical projects from kickoff through final completion, coordinating field operations and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, timelines, manpower, material needs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with operations, estimating, purchasing, accounting, and field teams to ensure project success and efficient resource allocation.
• Review plans, drawings, specs, contracts, scopes of work to ensure requirements are understood and executed.
• Monitor progress, costs, quality, and performance to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, field personnel, and stakeholders on status, schedules, and expectations.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, POs, schedules, drawings, records, and reports.
• Identify and resolve issues, conflicts, delays, material concerns, and risks in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct coordination meetings and provide leadership updates on progress and performance.
• Support billing, invoicing, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for projects.
• Foster positive relationships with customers and teams; drive projects to successful completion.
• Contribute to process improvements in field operations, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
