Job summary

CMTA (formerly AMA Group), a Legence Company, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to lead electrical design on diverse projects. The role involves hands-on design work, client interaction, and mentorship toward PM readiness.

The position offers opportunities to influence project outcomes and advance within a collaborative, high-performance team. The candidate will work with seasoned engineers to deliver robust electrical systems while upholding code compliance and quality standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license preferred (not mandatory).
• 5–9 years of experience in electrical system design.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Experience interpreting construction drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.

Responsibilities

• Produce complete electrical system design drawings in accordance with applicable codes.
• Collaborate to solve complex engineering problems across design requirements and coordination.
• Interact with owners, clients, architects, and contractors with clear verbal and written communication.
• Coordinate with engineers and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Design and specify electrical components to meet project goals and requirements.
• Apply engineering principles to design, evaluate, and improve systems and processes.
