Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Renewable Energy team in a role that supports planning and execution of commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will work with project managers, field leadership, subcontractors, and customers to coordinate documentation, procurement, scheduling, cost tracking, and field activities, building a long-term career in electrical construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or electrical engineering is preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in construction or project coordination.
• Experience with renewable energy, solar, storage, or EV infrastructure is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day electrical and renewable energy construction activities.
• Assist with project startup, planning, scheduling, and closeout.
• Review drawings, specs, and contracts for accuracy.
• Track RFIs, submittals, changes, and project communications.
• Support procurement and procurement scheduling with vendors.

Project Engineer - Renewable Energy / Electrical Construction

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our growing Renewable Energy team. This position supports the successful planning and execution of commercial and renewable electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Working alongside Project Managers, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and customers, the Project Engineer will help coordinate project documentation, procurement, scheduling, cost tracking, and field activities. Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of electrical and renewable energy construction projects.
• Assist with project startup, planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documents.
• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change documentation, and project correspondence.
• Assist with material and equipment procurement, including coordination with vendors and suppliers.
• Track long-lead electrical equipment and help maintain procurement schedules.
• Support project cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and change-order management.
• Coordinate with field supervisors to resolve design, material, and constructability issues.
• Participate in project meetings with customers, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Assist with QA/QC documentation, commissioning coordination, punch lists, and project closeout.
• Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in construction, electrical contracting, engineering, or project coordination preferred.
• Experience with commercial electrical construction, renewable energy, solar, battery storage, or EV infrastructure is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with both field and office teams.
• Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk, or similar platforms is beneficial.
