Job summary

Mitsubishi Films America in Greer, SC seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to join the Project Engineering group. You will develop project packages, specify equipment, and analyze bids to meet goals. Strong SAP/AutoCAD experience and NEC knowledge are preferred.

The role reports to the Director, Operations Support and requires managing multiple assignments while ensuring safety and quality standards across film extrusion lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of engineering and project management experience preferred.
• Strong analytical problem solving skills.
• Functional knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Experience with extrusion and/or film lines is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering project packages including cost tracking, resources, and deadlines.
• Develop preliminary engineering details, cost estimates and project schedules.
• Develop equipment specifications.
• Analyze bids and make recommendations.
• Enter requisitions into SAP and manage purchases.
• Observe construction to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Support project startup and update drawing packages in document management system.
• Troubleshoot equipment, gather data, and develop solutions.
• Report on status of assigned projects.
• Review project development with internal clients.
