Job summary

Mitsubishi Polyester Film, Inc. in Greer, SC seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to drive engineering projects within the Project Engineering group, ensuring goals and objectives are achieved.

You will develop project packages, approve specs, manage costs, and coordinate with electrical designers; familiarity with NEC, SAP, and AutoCAD is a plus. Strong communication and multi-tasking are essential as you report to the Director, Operations Support.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of engineering and project management experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Proficiency with MS Office; SAP and AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering project packages with cost tracking and scheduling.
• Prepare preliminary engineering details, feasibility, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Develop equipment specifications and analyze bids.
• Recommend purchases and enter requisitions into SAP.
• Monitor construction activities for quality and safety compliance.
• Support startup and keep drawing packages updated in the DMS.
• Troubleshoot equipment and provide data-driven solutions.
• Report project status and review progress with internal clients.
