Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks an Electrical Project Engineer in our Austin office to advance energy-efficient building designs and power distribution/lighting systems for technically sophisticated facilities.

You will apply design tools and lead diverse teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs. You’ll use Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to develop innovative approaches, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSEE/BSAE degree required.
• 10+ years of experience designing power distribution and lighting building systems.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engineering design on assigned projects within a discipline.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions to align with project and client needs.
• Lead the discipline team in implementing the solutions.
