Job summary

CEC is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer Intern to join a structured multi-summer program. You will rotate through Special Projects, FP&A, and Accounting or Estimating, gaining hands-on budgeting, profitability analysis, and EVM exposure.

Field visits and leadership interactions provide real-world financial insight into construction operations. You will develop financial models, track project performance, and prepare leadership reports, while learning best practices in project controls and

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Admin, Construction Management, or related field.
Preference for candidates in a multi-summer internship program.

Responsibilities

Assist in project budget development, tracking, and analysis.
Support profitability analysis and reporting for ongoing projects.
Learn and apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to prepare analytical reports.
Develop financial models and forecasts to support decisions.
Participate in site visits to understand field operations and financial impact.
