Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in bachelor’s degree program in Construction Management or related field.
• Previous construction or internship experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with project managers, subcontractors, engineers, and vendors.
• Collaborate with superintendent to track materials and coordinate with vendors.
• Act as a champion of the Helix safety culture and promote site safety.
• Engage in the Change Order process and assist with estimating using Accubid.
• Partner with the project team to analyze subcontract agreements for scope and pricing.
• Assist with material and equipment procurement.
• Collaborate with the BIM department on planning and coordination.
• Produce and maintain detailed job logs (transmittals, submittals, RFIs).
• Exposure to quality control monitoring.
• Support labor scheduling with superintendents and project managers.
• Create and order prefabricated assemblies for planning and timely delivery.
• Walk job sites to learn the trade and contribute to company performance.
