Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience with E-Plan or AutoCAD Electrical required.
• MS Office proficiency; SAP experience is helpful.
• Experience with startup, integration or design of industrial machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use electrical design methodologies for industrial machinery hardware development.
• Produce software for PLCs and microprocessor-based control systems.
• Specify, program, and troubleshoot variable speed/servo drive systems; develop operator interfaces.
• Understand high-level process functionality across industries.
• Test, calibrate, and incorporate electrical instrumentation into machine design.
• Investigate issues, determine root cause, and resolve.
• Startup and debug products at customer sites.
• Coordinate with sub-suppliers to integrate into a common control package.
• Plan and apply research methodologies to electrical engineering projects.
• Manage project scheduling and coordinate electrical tasks; develop budgets.
• Direct and coordinate manufacturing, installation, testing to meet specs and customer requirements.
• Prepare specifications for procurement of components and equipment.
