You will lead the development of long-range engineering plans, manage projects through planning, procurement, construction and startup, and provide cross‑department engineering support to maintain reliable power delivery.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of electrical engineering experience, and familiarity with licensing exams; Alaska driver’s license within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
  • Four years of electrical engineering experience.
  • EI/EIT/FE exam completed (preferred).
  • PE license (preferred).
  • Alaska driver's license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of long-range engineering plans and construction work plans.
  • Manage project lifecycle from planning to startup and contract administration.
  • Provide project management and engineering support to multiple departments.
  • Develop and modify construction plans and budgets for transmission, generation, distribution.
  • Coordinate utility improvement designs to ensure reliable energy delivery.
