B&I Contractors, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support the PM on commercial mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects. You will help manage design, budget and schedule while interfacing with clients and subs to ensure smooth execution.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and are proficient with Word, Outlook and Excel, with physical work abilities as required. Company offers strong benefits and ESOP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds; follow OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in managing commercial MEP projects to grow into a PM.
• Support PM to ensure work aligns with design, budget and schedule.
• Interface with clients, subcontractors, and vendors as needed.
• Review/submit project documents (submittals, RFI's, shop drawings, manuals).
• Provide field support to crews and track equipment releases and changes.
