Job summary

Knobelsdorff is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize electrical systems for diverse projects in Minnesota. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure designs are constructible, meet schedules, and comply with NEC standards.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, field support, and ongoing technical knowledge growth within a leading turnkey specialty contractor. A valid driver’s license and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering or related design/constructability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and flexible to KE business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design, analysis, and optimization of electrical systems to meet project schedules.
• Review designs for constructability and coordinate updates for construction teams.
• Provide technical support from design through procurement and construction.
• Travel to site as needed to support project execution.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and customer requirements through documentation and testing.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to support design and execution.
