Job summary

EPI Power, LLC, an electrical contractor and subsidiary of The Weitz Company, seeks a Project Engineer to support data-center projects in Texas. You will review drawings, coordinate with VDC, assist with submittals, and help track materials and deadlines.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Engineering, VDC, Procurement, and Field teams, with a focus on resolving technical issues and ensuring drawings meet specifications. LEAN and NEC familiarity are assets.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is a plus and internship experience is relevant.
• Experience with electrical drawings and project scope is beneficial.
• LEAN principles knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications and project scope.
• Coordinate with VDC, review BIM/shop drawings.
• Assist with submittals, tracking and MTOs.
• Support procurement and material tracking.
• Attend coordination and project meetings.
• Maintain engineering logs and documentation.
• Provide technical support to field teams and PMs.
• Issue RFIs and assist with as-built documentation.
