Job summary

RMF Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead design efforts in one of our South Carolina offices (Charleston, Columbia, Greenville).

The role centers on managing complex electrical systems design, power generation, and distribution for building and utility projects. The ideal candidate holds a BSEE, 5+ years of electrical design experience, and BIM proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and SKM.

Qualifications

• BSEE from an accredited college or university.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) certification; PE preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design and distribution.
• Strong technical design and engineering ability.
• Experience with drawing development and organization.
• Experience with field work and documentation of engineering parameters.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• Fluent in Autodesk Revit software for Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Familiar with AutoCAD 2014 and SKM.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of complex electrical design projects involving medium and low voltage systems, power generation and distribution.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure designs meet client needs and codes.
