Job summary

RMF Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to manage all aspects of complex electrical design projects in our South Carolina offices (Charleston, Columbia, Greenville).

The role focuses on medium and low voltage systems, power generation and distribution. The ideal candidate has a BSEE, EIT/EI, at least five years of electrical design experience, strong BIM skills with Revit, and proficiency with AutoCAD and SKM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from accredited college or university.
• EIT or EI certification; Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design and distribution.
• Strong technical design and engineering ability.
• Experience with drawing development and organization.
• Experience with field work and documentation of engineering parameters.
• Strong work ethic and solid organizational skills.
• Fluent in Autodesk Revit software for Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Familiar with AutoCAD 2014.
• Working knowledge of SKM.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office software.

The Project Engineer's primary role is to manage all aspects of complex design projects involving medium and low voltage electrical systems, power generation and power distribution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from accredited college or university

• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) certification. Licensed Professional Engineer, preferred

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design and distribution

• Strong technical design and engineering ability

• Experience with drawing development and organization

• Experience with field work and documentation of engineering parameters

• Strong work ethic and solid organizational skills

• Fluent in Autodesk Revit software for Building Information Modeling (BIM)
