Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) invites an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our Houston office and lead the electrical design process for complex facilities, focusing on power distribution and lighting systems.

You will mentor the discipline team, translate client needs into innovative technical solutions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across healthcare, science, technology, and education sectors.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSEE/BSAE or related engineering degree.
• 10+ years designing power distribution and lighting systems in complex facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks.

Responsibilities

Expertise of our most successful Electrical Project Engineer

• BSEE/BSAE (or another engineering discipline) from an ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience designing power distribution and lighting building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
