Job summary

RMF Engineering, Inc is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in its South Carolina offices. The role will manage all aspects of complex design projects involving medium and low voltage electrical systems, power generation and distribution.

The candidate should hold a B.S.E.E., have an EIT/EI certification (Professional Engineer preferred) and at least 5 years of electrical design/distribution experience. Proficiency in BIM with Revit and AutoCAD, plus SKM and MS Office, is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S.E.E. degree from an accredited college or university.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) certification; licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical design and distribution.
• Strong technical design and engineering ability; experience with drawing development/organization.
• Field work and documentation of engineering parameters; strong work ethic and organization.
• Fluent in Autodesk Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Familiar with AutoCAD 2014; working knowledge of SKM; proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Lead and manage complex electrical design projects from concept through commissioning.
• Develop and review drawings and documentation; ensure quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and field staff to execute project plans.

The Project Engineer’s primary role is to manage all aspects of complex design projects involving medium and low voltage electrical systems, power generation and power distribution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from accredited college or university
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) certification. Licensed Professional Engineer, preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design and distribution
• Strong technical design and engineering ability
• Experience with drawing development and organization
• Experience with field work and documentation of engineering parameters
• Strong work ethic and solid organizational skills
• Fluent in Autodesk Revit software for Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Familiar with AutoCad 2014
• Working knowledge of SKM
• Fluent in Microsoft Office software
