Job summary

Vincere is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for a client in Crosby, TX to own electrical design basis, technical compliance, contract, schedule, and cost, steering the project from proposal through FAT and turnover. Qualifications

• 7–10 years in electrical equipment design and EPC project execution.
• BSEE preferred or equivalent.

• Own contract, schedule, and job cost from proposal through FAT and turnover.
• Drive project operations on-site in Crosby, TX.
• Support commissioning and resolve field issues as needed.

Job description

I have a client located in Crosby, TX that has an opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer.

The Electrical Project Engineer owns the electrical design basis and technical compliance while also owning the contract, the schedule, and the job cost - driving the project from proposal through Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and final turnover.

This is a temp to possible permanent role that must be worked on-site.

Job Requirements:

• BSEE preferred
• 7-10 years of combined experience in electrical equipment design (PDCs, E-Houses, switchgear, or MCC packages) and project execution on EPC capital projects
• Minimum 2-4 years running or co-running direct contracts with a Tier 1 EPC, ideally including at least one completed capital project in LNG, midstream, power generation, or large data center work, where every document routes through a formal owner/EPC review cycle
• Primavera P6, MS Project, or Wrike, AutoCAD Electrical, advanced Excel, Bluebeam, Aconex / Oracle Unifier / SharePoint, and ERP job costing knowledge
• Perform or review power system studies - load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash incident energy - and derive relay settings from the EPC's study.
• Experience supporting site commissioning or resolving field issues remotely is strongly preferred
• NEC (particularly Art. 110.26, 240.87, 250, 310, 409, 450), UL 891, UL 508A, UL 845, NFPA 70E, IEEE C37.20.1/.2/.7, IEEE 1584 arc flash, ANSI/IEEE C57
