Job summary

Kimmel Associates seeks a Project Director – Electrical Construction to lead electrical execution on complex heavy industrial and infrastructure projects across the Southeast. The role oversees estimating, installation, commissioning, and closeout, leading Electrical PMs, Superintendents, and self-perform teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in heavy industrial electrical construction.
• Experience leading self-performed electrical work on large projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasting, scheduling, and profitability.
• Experience coordinating across complex multi-trade environments.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the electrical scope on major industrial and infrastructure projects.
• Oversee execution from estimating through installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop and mentor Electrical Project Managers and field leadership.
• Establish execution strategies, schedules, and procurement plans.
• Maintain project budgets, productivity, and profitability.
• Coordinate activities with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and other disciplines.
• Support proposals, change management, and business development.
