IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Designer for our Industrial team, in our Rock Island, IL or Urbandale, IA offices. This role is also open to candidates within a 200-mile radius for remote work.

As an Electrical Project Designer, you will perform calculations, system design, equipment selections, reports, progress submittals, and BIM instructions to ensure project completeness and accuracy on time, within budget, and in accordance with IMEG design standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead design for electrical systems and mentor junior staff
• Research, coordinate, verify, schedule, and document various design aspects
• Build, maintain, and develop client relationships
• Solve problems quickly and seek advice from the Project Manager
• Perform services as required by the contract services agreement

Key Skills and Abilities Needed

• Mastery of electrical design and technical aspects
• Demonstrated aptitude for project management
• Knowledge of fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and BIM programs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science
• Minimum of 3 years of qualifying experience; 4 years preferred
• Alternatively, at least 8 years of qualifying experience without a bachelor's degree

This position is not eligible for sponsorship. The salary range in California is $80,000 - $105,000, with variations based on location, experience, and other factors. Benefits include bonuses, stock options, health insurance, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, paid holidays, and PTO.
