Job summary

Central States Industrial (CSI) is seeking an Electrical Project Buyer in Springfield, MO. You will source electrical components, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery for custom engineered projects.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, and Manufacturing to meet BOM requirements and schedules. You will negotiate pricing and delivery terms, maintain accurate Epicor data, and support continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing experience or related field.
• Experience negotiating pricing and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Strong data accuracy and ERP data management in Epicor.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure electrical components and related project materials.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, RFQs, and supplier acknowledgements in Epicor.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing to align materials with schedules.
• Monitor shortages and lead times; expedite as needed to prevent delays.
• Maintain Epicor data accuracy: part sites, pricing, and supplier info.
• Support procurement process improvements and project kickoffs.
