Job summary

DataOne Construction is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source materials, equipment, and subcontractor services for electrical contracting projects. You will negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You will build and maintain strong vendor relationships, track orders and inventory, and review purchase orders for accuracy against project specifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (construction or electrical industry preferred).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with project management or ERP systems a plus.
• Experience with Procore or Odoo helpful.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, equipment, and subcontractor services for multiple projects
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors and suppliers
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliability and quality
• Track orders, deliveries, and inventory to meet project timelines
• Review purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with project specifications
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to forecast needs and resolve supply chain challenges
• Maintain organized procurement records and reports
