Job summary
National Gypsum Company seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer for manufacturing operations in Louisiana. You will lead electrical design, automation, troubleshooting, and training of technicians. Responsibilities include PLC review and updates, instrumentation calibration, and HMI programming.

Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical and electronic aspects of machinery and projects.
- Review and modify PLC programming for process continuity.
- Complete projects within scope and budget with specs and training.
- Assist production in troubleshooting and variances.
- Attend weekly management meetings and report status.
- Identify cost savings and safety improvements.
- Develop and train electrical technicians.
- Occasional weekends or off-shifts as needed.
- Install and calibrate instrumentation; handle HMI programming.
- Other duties as assigned.
