Axiom Space is seeking an experienced Electrical Power Flight Hardware Design Engineer to contribute to the design and integration of electrical power systems for commercial spaceflight modules. The role involves creating designs, integration plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of relevant experience in power system design, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
We are looking for a resilient, high-energy, experienced Electrical Power Flight Hardware Design Engineer to work with team members and external suppliers to design, test, and integrate electrical power distribution and control systems for Axiom commercial human spaceflight modules. Electrical Power Distribution and Control Systems include circuits for power conversion, conditioning, isolation, and fault protection.

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
