Job summary

Edison Smart® is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate electrical power distribution projects from sales order entry through manufacturing, testing and final delivery. The role focuses on schedules, specifications and client requirements in a data centre and critical power market.

The position offers full-time work with up to 25% travel to manufacturing facilities and customer sites, plus comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) plan and various benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in project management or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution equipment, ideally LV/MV switchgear or related products.
• Experience with ERP systems and project documentation.
• Strong organisational, analytical and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from order entry through shipment, ensuring schedules, specifications and customer requirements are met.
• Coordinate design reviews and project activities across Sales, Engineering and Production.
• Manage customer communication, technical clarifications, project documentation and submittals.
• Track component lead times, supplier deliveries and potential production delays.
• Coordinate factory inspections, quality reviews, testing and final delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, standardise processes and drive efficiency.
