Job summary

Miller Electric Company in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical construction and data center-related IT/telecom projects. This client-facing role reports to the Director and VP, offering meaningful work and a comprehensive benefits package with relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

You will develop schedules, budgets, coordinate vendors, manage RFPs and change orders, mentor staff, and ensure safety compliance while delivering projects of $100M+.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management experience.
• 1+ years building large scale IT/Telecommunications Infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Data Center electrical distribution, cabling and white space fit-out.
• Experience with retrofits in operational facilities and critical facility systems.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to work calmly under deadlines and external pressure.
• Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time.
• Commitment to continuous improvement of communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company, client, and project policies.
• Generate estimates, review project proposals.
• Establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for projects $100M+.
• Supervise project execution to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Collaborate with the customer to meet expectations before, during, and after completion.
• Work directly with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Lead billing efforts and manage cash flow.
• Develop and maintain client and employee relationships.
• Provide regular reports to senior management and forecast financial direction.
